This year marks a lot of back-to-normal milestones and Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of them. Last year the festival had to run smaller programming, mixed with online showcases, and was restricted by city curfews. This year we all have high hopes for a city-wide event like no other because every year they somehow step things up (see 2019 coverage here).
In a nutshell, ADE is the world’s largest festival and business conference for electronic music. That might sound grand but it is not an exaggeration, the festival truly takes over Amsterdam and the nearby regions welcoming attendees and performers from across the globe.
First wave of artists was announced today and includes the likes of Afrojack, Ben Böhmer, Alan Walker, Nicky Romero, The Blessed Madonna, Armin van Buuren, Degs, Floating Points, Tiësto, Vitalic, and hundreds more to be announced.
The festival runs from October 19—23, 2022, for more information and tickets visit amsterdam-dance-event.nl.
